To a son that has no gratitude

SORROWS

Let me shift the focus a little, to focus on something you take for granted daily

You fail to please the heart of a man who provides for you
Clothes you and shelters you, he taps you on the shoulder, To make
his presence known and felt, Even then you say not thank you Papa.
You despise him just because he doesn't give you what you want
When you want it and how you want it. Mother tries to
make you see the love demonstrated, yet in Your interpretation,
it is love deprived. Still no word of thanks giving from your lips.
He takes what mummy taught you theoretically and applies it practically
To teach you life, but in your eyes he is uncool and old fashioned
Shame is all over you and since he has no cool in his bloody veins.
He is really trying with determination to make his son to be a good man

Still no thank you Papa

Deep down inside Papa hurts so badly, confiding in his fellow man
About his seed that fails to reap good fruit, you still think that he cries not
Well think again brother of mine, he weeps bitterly for you oh ungrateful son
Suddenly the calamities of life befall hour daddy and he is no more . Your Papa was thankful to God for you everyday and
Appreciating the golden vessel of honour to nurse you and nurture you.
Now that Papa is no more, thanks giving invites you to a world of
Gratitude and humility,  with everything and everyone precious

Who's Papa are you  going to thank now

Beyond the grave he can't hear your thankful words, he can't see your
Sobbing eyes of guilt, he can't tap you on the shoulder like he used to
making his presence once more known.  Start to be thankful to mum for
Loving and caring environment she provides you with because once
God steps in as a Father, weeping will endure in the night and a lesson
Of life for an ungrateful soul will be learnt
Do not be a proverb of a ungrateful son who existed once upon a time
A seed of disaster and a fruit of curse in the eyes of an elder
